Bible Studies

What ages are your discussion guides written for?

Talk Through the Bible is written primarily for ages 7-15, but it’s designed to be used with all of your kids together. Since you're leading the discussion, you control how deep and how lengthy discussions are. Children ages 4-6 may not be ready to participate in the same way their older siblings do, but they can color and do copywork in our young student workbooks while absorbing information from the discussions. It's amazing how much their little minds soak up!

Do I need a particular version of the Bible?

We primarily use the ESV translation in our studies. Occasionally, we reference other translations for specific verses. However, you can easily use your preferred Bible translation for any of our studies.

What denomination are you?

Talk Through the Bible is not affiliated with a particular Christian denomination. Our Bible curriculum aims to help you explain Christian doctrines to your children as you study through each book of the Bible and various topics arise.

What do you believe?

You can read our statement of faith here.

Can I use the discussion guides as a Bible credit for homeschooling?

Absolutely! As the teacher, you choose what your students receive credit for. You can use a few of these discussion guides to form a half credit or go from Genesis to Ruth with the addition of Job, our Advent guide, and our Easter guide to make 36 weeks worth of lessons. Each discussion guide contains links to additional reading and optional activities if you want your kids to do more to earn their credit based on age.

Can these Bible studies be used to lead a Sunday School class?

They can! Talk Through the Bible is completely open-and-go, so it’s convenient even when teachers have to rotate or need a substitute. I'm currently going through Genesis with the 4th-6th grade class at my church. The lessons can be completed in 30-40 minutes, depending on the number of students and how quickly you push the discussion forward. I love discussion-based classes because the students get to know each other and form friendships, they ask questions, they learn what they're interested in because it's ok to go "off topic," and they make connections with the sermons. By the end of Genesis, students will have a solid foundation of theology and Christian doctrine.

We process and ship all orders within 1-2 business days. You'll receive an email with tracking information when your items ship. Shipping time is then dependent upon the USPS and varies depending on which delivery service you select at checkout.

Can I make changes to my order?

If your order hasn't shipped yet, please email us within 24 hours with your order number, and we'll do our best to accommodate any changes. However, once a tracking number is provided, we're unable to make any modifications. We will email you if we are able to accommodate the requested changes.

My package says delivered, but I didn't get it. What should I do?

If your package was marked as delivered, but you haven’t received it, please work through these steps:

  1. Contact your local post office and provide your tracking number to see if they can locate it.
  2. Contact your neighbors to see if the package was mistakenly delivered there.
  3. File a Missing Mail claim with USPS.

If those steps are unsuccessful in locating your package, please contact us.

Do you accept returns?

Yes, we accept returns of items still in their original condition. You can read our full policy here.
